Coffey Anderson Military - ENNIS, TX - The NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series has made it a tradition to recognize and honor first responders and members of the military at race tracks across the country. The Texas Motorplex has been a constant supporter of both amazing people and their families. During this year's 36th Texas NHRA Fall Nationals and Speedway, the Texas Motorplex is offering a variety of ticket discounts for active or retired military members, government employees and first responders to the NHRA National event.

Strawberry Festival Country Star Coffey Anderson Gives Back To Veterans
Anderson, who will headline the Santa Maria Valley Strawberry Festival on April 28, likes to do so by partnering with charities and organizations that benefit military veterans.
"It's amazing when a hard-working artist can consistently give his all to his audience, but still make time for his charity," said Fairpark CEO Richard Persons.
In December, Anderson performed at the Armed Forces Bowl on ESPN and is raising money to award mortgage-free homes to wounded war veterans through the Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) in San Antonio, Texas. In partnership with Lear Vineyards of Byron, CA, he is the face of Brave Red Wine. A portion of every bottle of Brave Red goes to MWSF. A life-size likeness of Anderson can be found in Wal-Mart supercenters across the country alongside the hero's red wine. It's also partnered with Lear to benefit Keegan's Promise, an organization that helps couples with the financial burden of children.

"Everyone has their moments and one thing in our family is that we encourage each other," the musician explained. "I think that makes a difference when you're fighting a monster like cancer."
A mother of three children. She was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018 and spoke about her treatment plan and plans to beat the disease.
In the Netflix series, Kofi and Crissila talk openly about their faith and the cameras often catch the family praying together.

The entertainer's music career was also consistently recorded and Coffey became famous despite not having formal management. His videos on social media have reached over 50 million people and he often does personalized songs/messages for fans who request them for special events.
He now uses music as "therapy" to "clear his mind" and give him a break from his responsibilities.

"There's something very therapeutic about music, I sing it, I write it. And in between there are songs I've written that won't see the light of day because this is my therapy session," he admitted.
Finally, Coffey wants his fans and viewers of the series to know that "broken people still work" and that life will throw you many curve balls that test your strength, but "you have to stop showing up."
